Feeding and Eating disorders are defined as behavioral conditions that include severe and persistent changes and disturbances related to eating behaviors. They may also be associated with distressing thoughts and emotions. These conditions can impact one’s physical, psychological, and social functioning and are often associated with preoccupations with one’s weight and food intake and the consequences of one’s eating habits.

Throughout this course, you will be introduced to a series of individuals, each displaying symptoms that are indicative of specific Feeding and Eating Disorders as outlined in the DSM-5-TR. By watching interactive video patient simulations, you will have the opportunity to observe and analyze the behaviors and symptoms of each client and apply the diagnostic criteria to make an accurate diagnosis.
