This course provides updated information on the DSM through the use of engaging video illustrations produced by Genius Academy, an innovative educational technology company. The DSM-5-TR, published in 2022, introduced a variety of conceptual and criteria-based revisions and additions to diagnostic categories. Keystone diagnostic revisions, including the addition of new diagnostic codes and disorders, new trauma-related, neurocognitive, mood, and depressive disorders, and revisions to dozens of additional disorders were included alongside a focus on issues of culture, race, and equity.
